Our Weekly Program provides students the tools they need to be critical thinkers, creative visionaries, and leaders. With art as the vehicle for inspiration and education, students learn to express themselves while gaining valuable life skills. WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT OUR CLASSES?

Our students are happy – and it shows! We want our students to learn while always feeling a sense of growth and striving for new heights. We believe that facilitating this mode of learning requires a delicate balance between structure & freedom, guidance & discovery, and technique & expression. We have watched many of our students grow from Kindergarten through High School – a testament to our nurturing environment, enriching curriculum, and amazing instructors who continually improve the experience of the studio for our students.

WHAT IS IT?

Our Internship Program places you in the role of a teacher, giving you a chance to experience a new perspective on art through the eyes of an educator. As an intern, you’ll work with young students in Kindergarten – 3rd Grade and help them reach their true potential. Through student mentorship, you’ll gain confidence and critical thinking skills that help in all aspects of life.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To qualify for our Internship Program, you must be both currently enrolled in our weekly program and have reached a level of at least Basic 3. You must then attend a mandatory training seminar during the summer to qualify for selection. Selected Interns are then placed in two 90-minute classes per week to teach alongside their instructors and work with students K-3rd Grade. Interns will receive training from their instructors, and they will mentor as many as 8 students per class.

You should expect to be at the studio three days a week, including one personal art class and two Internship classes. As an Intern, you’ll also qualify to receive a free additional art class for the duration of your teaching term; this second class is optional and can be claimed anytime during the term. Interns who really enjoy their experience may apply for an additional year pending availability and achievement.

If you have just graduated 8th grade, you are invited to attend our summer training.
